What a fantastic day it was on Friday here at Oaktree Lakes! The sun was shining, the water was calm, and excitement was in the air as we introduced a new generation of beautiful carp into our lakes.

The Big Arrival

Early this morning, we gathered by the water’s edge, ready to welcome a special delivery. The fish arrived in perfect condition, carefully transported from a trusted fishery to ensure their safety and comfort every step of the way. As the tanks opened, the anticipation built —shimmering and splashing around, each one bursting with potential, ready to make Oaktree Lakes their new home. We have shared some of them going into the lake.

A Mix of Beauty and Strength

We’ve stocked a stunning variety of common and mirror carp, ranging in size and age, each with its own unique markings and character. Watching them glide into the water was a truly magical sight — their golden and bronze scales flashing in the autumn light as they explored their new surroundings.

Looking Ahead

The introduction of these carp marks another exciting step in the ongoing development of Oaktree Lakes. Over the coming months, we will continue to prepare the lakes to welcome anglers in March 2026. With the lake’s rich natural environment and excellent water quality, we’re confident they’ll thrive and add even more excitement to your fishing experience.  We continue to work hard to get ourselves ready to welcome all anglers of all ages.
